• هل كنت تتوقع إنهاء هذه القضايا في فترة وجيزة، خصوصاً أن معظمها قضايا متشعبة وبمبالغ مالية ضخمة، في ظل عدم توفر سيولة كافية حينها؟
•• بصراحة، وبنظرة واقعية للأرقام، كانت المعادلة تبدو مستحيلة: (ديون ضخمة + قضايا متشعبة + ضيق وقت = استمرار المنع من التسجيل). ولكننا في إدارة نادي أُحد لا نؤمن بالمستحيل أمام مصلحة الكيان. وضعنا إستراتيجية تتكون من مسارين:
• الأول: سداد القضايا ذات الأحكام النهائية والقطعية فوراً.
• الثاني: خوض مفاوضات مباشرة وشاقة لإقناع الدائنين بتسويات تخفف الأعباء المالية مقابل السداد الفوري.
ما تحقق ليس مجرد إغلاق للقضايا، بل هو تحسين الصورة الذهنية عن نادي أُحد، وهو الانتصار الأهم الذي مهّد لنا الطريق لفتح باب التسجيل من جديد.
تحديات كبيرة
• بعيداً عن القضايا الخارجية، حدثنا عن الجهود التي بذلتموها خلال فترة رئاستكم لإعادة تنظيم الشؤون الإدارية والمالية داخل أروقة النادي.
•• العمل الإداري الذي قمنا به لم يهدف فقط لتسيير الأعمال، بل لبناء مؤسسة رياضية مستدامة محصنة من العثرات المستقبلية. نعم، ما زلنا نواجه تحديات كبيرة بسبب تركة الديون المتراكمة، ولكننا واجهناها بشجاعة إدارية؛ حيث نجحنا في تخفيض تكلفة الأجور بنسبة 62% دون المساس بالكفاءة التشغيلية، وذلك عبر إلغاء الازدواجية الإدارية. هدفنا واضح: أن يكون كل ريال يُصرف في النادي في مكانه الصحيح.
• لاحظ الجمهور «شحاً» في أخبار النادي الرسمية، لماذا فضلتم الصمت طوال تلك الفترة الماضية؟ وهل كان غياباً اختيارياً أم تكتيكاً إدارياً فُرض عليكم؟
•• المرحلة الماضية كانت مرحلة إصلاح، وهي تتطلب العمل خلف الكواليس أكثر من الظهور الإعلامي. فضلنا الصمت لأننا نؤمن أن النتائج هي أبلغ رسالة إعلامية نقدمها للجمهور. كان تركيزنا منصباً على معالجة القضايا قانونياً في (الفيفا)، وتقليص النزيف المالي، وحماية مكتسبات النادي. الغياب لم يكن اختيارياً بالمعنى التقليدي، بل كان انضباطاً إدارياً؛ فليس من الحكمة أن نتحدث عن وعود ونحن لا نزال في منتصف الطريق.
سلة الحقيقة
• تعتبر كرة السلة «العمود الفقري» لتاريخ نادي أحد، ما خططكم الملموسة لإعادة توهج «سلة أحد» من جديد واستعادة هيبتها البطولية؟
•• سلة أُحد هي الهوية والإرث التاريخي، ونحن ندرك حجم الألم الذي يعتصر الجماهير تجاه وضع الفريق الحالي. الفريق يمر بمرحلة حرجة نتيجة قضايا سابقة أدت لمنع التسجيل. لذا، أعلنها للجميع: سأشرف شخصياً ومباشراً على ملف السلة ضمن مسارين: الأول قانوني لتسوية الديون ورفع المنع، والثاني عمل فني مع أبناء النادي المخلصين. سلة أُحد قد تمرض لكنها لا تموت، وعهدنا لكم أن نعيد «سلة الحقيقة» إلى منصات التتويج.

•• الفئات السنية هي عمودنا الفقري. إستراتيجيتنا توازن بين الكيف والكم؛ فبجانب تسجيل المستجدين، عملنا على تطوير المواهب عبر استقطاب كفاءات تدريبية متخصصة. هدفنا أن يكون أغلب لاعبي الفريق الأول من أبناء النادي، والصفقات ستكون فقط في المراكز التي نحتاج فيها لخبرة نوعية تدعم هؤلاء الشباب وفق إمكانيات النادي.
الاستثمار الحقيقي
• الاعتماد على الدعم المباشر وحده لا يبني استقراراً؛ ما خطواتكم لتفعيل ملف الاستثمار والشراكات التجارية لضمان عدم تكرار الأزمات المالية السابقة؟
•• الاستثمار الحقيقي يتطلب بيئة مستقرة، لذا اتخذنا قرارنا بتأجيل بعض الملفات الاستثمارية مؤقتاً؛ فنحن نرفض تسويق اسم نادي أُحد العريق بأقل مما يستحقه. نحن الآن في مرحلة رفع القيمة السوقية للنادي عبر تحسين الأوضاع الفنية ومعالجة الملفات المالية، وبعدها سنطلق ملفاً استثمارياً يضمن استدامة الموارد.
• ما خططكم الإستراتيجية للمرحلة القادمة؟ وكيف سيتعامل النادي مع تحديات «الحوكمة» ومعايير وزارة الرياضة الجديدة؟
•• نجاحنا في معالجة قضايا FIFA المعقدة هو أكبر برهان على قدرتنا في التعامل مع أدق الأنظمة الدولية. هذه المنهجية هي ذاتها التي نطبقها الآن للامتثال لمعايير الحوكمة. طموحنا هو الوصول إلى أعلى فئات الامتثال التي تضمن لنا الاستحقاقات المالية وتجعل النادي وجهة جاذبة للمستثمرين.
غضب المدرج
• بين العتب والمحبة.. كيف تقيمون علاقة الإدارة الحالية بجماهير النادي؟ وكيف ستعملون على احتواء غضب المدرج الأحدي الطامح للمنافسة؟
•• علاقتنا بالجماهير متجذرة، ولا نرى في عتبهم إلا دافعاً للعمل. النادي ملك لمحبيه، وأبوابنا مفتوحة لكل نقد بناء. نعمل حالياً على تدشين مبادرات تضمن إشراك الجمهور في صناعة القرار عبر قنوات تواصل رسمية وشفافة. غضب المدرج اليوم هو وقودنا، وهدفنا تحويل هذا العتب إلى فخر بالنتائج قريباً.
• بصراحة.. هل لديكم الرغبة في الاستمرار والترشح لرئاسة النادي في حال فتح باب الجمعية العمومية، أم أن المهمة كانت «مهمة إنقاذ» مؤقتة؟
•• وجودي في نادي أُحد هو واجب تجاه كيان تاريخي. نحن اليوم في منتصف مشروع تصحيحي شامل، والحديث عن الانتخابات حالياً قد يشتت التركيز. ما أؤكده: أنا جئت لخدمة نادي أُحد، وسأكون دائماً حيث تقتضي مصلحة النادي. الأهم هو أن يظل الجبل شامخاً، وفاءً للقيم التي تعلمتها من والدي رويفد الصاعدي ومن كافة رموز النادي.

• First, we congratulate you on closing the file of the pending cases of Ohod Club with FIFA, which caused the club to be banned from registering. How did you manage to settle these complex files? What are the precise details of this achievement?
•• God bless you, and this achievement is a gift to the patience of the loyal fans of Ohod Club. The truth is that we were not just seeking to close cases, but we were engaged in a battle to restore the reputation of Ohod Club both internationally and locally. We followed a triangular path: a legal one by scrutinizing the claims, a negotiating one to reduce financial burdens, and a commitment to fulfilling promises; which made the (creditor) feel our seriousness. Thanks to God, and then to the diligent follow-up and direct support from the Undersecretary of the Ministry of Sports for Club Affairs, Abdulaziz bin Abdulrahman Al-Mas’ad, we have closed this chapter forever. I promise you that we will not allow the club to return to this dark tunnel again, and we will firmly maintain our financial and administrative gains.
• Did you expect to resolve these cases in a short period, especially since most of them are complex cases with huge financial amounts, amid a lack of sufficient liquidity at that time?
•• Honestly, and looking realistically at the numbers, the equation seemed impossible: (huge debts + complex cases + time constraints = continued registration ban). However, we at the Ohod Club administration do not believe in the impossible when it comes to the interest of the entity. We set a strategy consisting of two paths:
• The first: immediate payment of cases with final and conclusive rulings.
• The second: engaging in direct and arduous negotiations to convince creditors to reach settlements that alleviate financial burdens in exchange for immediate payment.
What has been achieved is not just the closure of cases, but it is an improvement in the mental image of Ohod Club, which is the most important victory that paved the way for us to reopen the registration door.
Big Challenges
• Away from external cases, tell us about the efforts you have made during your presidency to reorganize the administrative and financial affairs within the club.
•• The administrative work we have done aimed not only to manage operations but to build a sustainable sports institution fortified against future setbacks. Yes, we still face significant challenges due to the legacy of accumulated debts, but we have faced them with administrative courage; we succeeded in reducing wage costs by 62% without affecting operational efficiency, by eliminating administrative duplication. Our goal is clear: that every riyal spent in the club is in its rightful place.
• The audience has noticed a “scarcity” of official news from the club; why did you prefer silence during that past period? Was it a voluntary absence or an administrative tactic imposed on you?
•• The past phase was a phase of reform, which requires working behind the scenes more than media appearances. We preferred silence because we believe that results are the most eloquent media message we can present to the audience. Our focus was on legally addressing the issues with FIFA, reducing financial bleeding, and protecting the club’s gains. The absence was not voluntary in the traditional sense, but rather an administrative discipline; it is not wise to talk about promises while we are still halfway through.
The Basket of Truth
• Basketball is considered the “backbone” of Ohod Club’s history; what are your tangible plans to revive “Ohod Basketball” and restore its championship prestige?
•• Ohod Basketball is the identity and historical legacy, and we understand the pain that fans feel regarding the current state of the team. The team is going through a critical phase due to previous issues that led to a registration ban. Therefore, I announce to everyone: I will personally and directly oversee the basketball file through two paths: the first is legal to settle debts and lift the ban, and the second is artistic work with the loyal sons of the club. Ohod Basketball may get sick, but it will not die, and we promise you to bring “the Basket of Truth” back to the podiums of victory.
• Where does the “youth categories” file fit into your upcoming strategy? Will we see a return to the policy of creating stars instead of relying entirely on ready-made deals?
•• The youth categories are our backbone. Our strategy balances quality and quantity; alongside registering newcomers, we have worked on developing talents by attracting specialized coaching competencies. Our goal is for most first-team players to be club-born, and the signings will only be in positions where we need qualitative experience to support these young players according to the club’s capabilities.
True Investment
• Relying solely on direct support does not build stability; what are your steps to activate the investment and commercial partnerships file to ensure that past financial crises do not recur?
•• True investment requires a stable environment, so we made the decision to temporarily postpone some investment files; we refuse to market the name of the historic Ohod Club for less than it deserves. We are now in a phase of raising the market value of the club by improving technical conditions and addressing financial files, and afterwards, we will launch an investment file that ensures the sustainability of resources.
• What are your strategic plans for the upcoming phase? How will the club deal with the challenges of “governance” and the new standards of the Ministry of Sports?
•• Our success in addressing FIFA’s complex issues is the greatest proof of our ability to deal with the most intricate international systems. This methodology is the same that we are applying now to comply with governance standards. Our ambition is to reach the highest levels of compliance that guarantee us financial entitlements and make the club an attractive destination for investors.
The Anger of the Stands
• Between reproach and love, how do you evaluate the current administration’s relationship with the club’s fans? How will you work to contain the anger of the Ohod stands that aspire to compete?
•• Our relationship with the fans is deep-rooted, and we see in their reproach nothing but a motivation to work. The club belongs to its lovers, and our doors are open to all constructive criticism. We are currently working on launching initiatives that ensure the involvement of the audience in decision-making through official and transparent communication channels. The anger of the stands today is our fuel, and our goal is to turn this reproach into pride in the results soon.
• Honestly, do you have the desire to continue and run for the presidency of the club if the general assembly opens, or was the mission a temporary “rescue mission”?
•• My presence at Ohod Club is a duty towards a historical entity. We are currently in the middle of a comprehensive corrective project, and talking about elections now may distract focus. What I confirm is: I came to serve Ohod Club, and I will always be where the interest of the club requires. The most important thing is that the mountain remains towering, in loyalty to the values I learned from my father, Ruwaifid Al-Saadi, and from all the symbols of the club.
