1.52 billion riyals purchased by foreigners in 7 days in major markets – Saudi News

Net purchases by qualified foreign investors in major markets last week up to January 29, 2026 amounted to approximately SR1.52 billion.

Accredited investors accounted for approximately 39.05% of the total market purchases last week and 34% of the total sales.

According to the weekly report on the value of stock market holdings and transactions published by Tadawul Saudi Arabia, the total turnover of Saudi individuals amounted to approximately SR 1.16 billion, and the net turnover of Saudi companies amounted to approximately SR 634.4 million.

Last week’s purchases

In the last week ending January 22, 2026, the total net purchases by qualified foreign investors in the main markets amounted to approximately SR1.8 billion.

Accredited investors accounted for approximately 40.29% of the total purchases on the market last week and 32.34% of the total sales.

According to the weekly report on stock market holding value and trading value published by Tadawul Saudi Arabia, the total sales of individuals in Saudi Arabia amounted to approximately 1.32 billion riyals, the net sales of individual investors was approximately 201 million riyals, the net sales of large individual investors were approximately 671.58 million riyals, and the net sales of professional investors were approximately 369.78 million riyals. Net sales of investment funds amounted to approximately 584.44 million riyals.

Total net purchases by qualified foreign investors in major markets reached approximately SR 1.52 billion last week up to January 29, 2026.

Accredited investors accounted for approximately 39.05% of total purchases on the market last week, compared to 34% of total sales.

According to the weekly report on stock value and stock market trading value published by Tadawul Saudi Arabia, the total turnover of Saudi individuals amounted to approximately 1.16 billion riyals, and the net turnover of Saudi companies amounted to approximately 634.4 million riyals.

Last week’s purchases

Last week, the total net purchases by qualified foreign investors in major markets until January 22, 2026 amounted to approximately 1.8 billion riyals.

Accredited investors accounted for approximately 40.29% of the total purchases on the market last week and 32.34% of the total sales.

According to the weekly report on stock market share value and trading value published by Tadawul Saudi Arabia, the total sales by individuals in Saudi Arabia amounted to approximately SR 1.32 billion, the net sales by individual investors amounted to approximately SR 201 million, the net sales by major individual investors amounted to approximately SR 671.58 million, and the net sales by 1 million professional investors totaled approximately SR 369.78 million. Net sales of investment funds amounted to approximately 584.44 million riyals.
