Special environmental security forces arrested 15 residents of Pakistani, Indian, Ethiopian and Yemeni nationalities for developing deposits in the Riyadh area, violating environmental regulations, and legal proceedings were initiated against them.
The military said it had seized bulldozers and equipment used to move soil (23 cases), in Mecca al-Mukarramah, Medina, Riyadh and Sharqiyah regions (911 cases), and in other parts of the Kingdom (999 cases) and (996 cases), and called on people to report any incidents indicating attacks on the environment or wildlife. All reports will be treated as completely confidential and there will be no liability on your part.
The Environmental Security Special Forces arrested 15 environmental regime violators of Pakistani, Indian, Ethiopian and Yemeni nationality who developed deposits in the Riyadh area and initiated legal proceedings against them.
The forces said they had seized 23 pieces of equipment used for dredging and transporting soil, and called on the public to report any incidents of violence against the environment or wildlife to 911 in Makkah, Madinah, Riyadh and the Eastern Region, and 999 and 996 in other parts of Saudi Arabia. All reports will be treated as completely confidential and there will be no liability to the reporter.
