The Saudi Electronic Sports Federation announced the launch of the 2026 season of the Saudi Electronic Sports League, as a step to strengthen the Kingdom’s presence in the gaming and electronic sports sector through a new competition structure and a total prize pool of SAR 4 million.
The new season will see the addition of Yalla Group as the league’s official partner, expanding the scope of competition through four major competition products including 23 electronic game tournaments, in addition to presenting partner of the women’s league called Yalla Saudi League for Women’s Electronic Sports.
This season includes an ‘Elite’ category, representing the pinnacle of professional competition, with clubs and players competing in ten prominent global games, including:
The league offers a “Challenge” category dedicated to developing up-and-coming talent through six tournaments: Dota 2, Mobile Legends: Bang Bang, League of Legends, Call of Duty Mobile, Counter-Strike 2, and eFootball.
This season will also include the Saudi Combat Electronic Sports League, which is dedicated to fighting games and aims to support the competitive community and discover talent in the field, as well as the Yara Saudi Women’s Electronic Sports League, which will provide a competitive environment for Saudi female players in four games: Overwatch 2, Valorant, EAFC26, and Call of Duty: Black Ops 7.
At the club level, the league’s most notable event, the Club Championship, is back, with teams competing to earn points in various tournaments throughout the season, with the top club at the end of the season receiving a grand prize of SAR 1 million, after the Twisted Minds team won the previous competition title in 2025.
Abdullah Al Nasr, Director of the Electronic Sports Products Department at the Saudi Electronic Sports Federation, confirmed that the new season aims to expand participation opportunities for athletes from all categories and enhance the competitive experience for fans and athletes, and expects this season to see strong competition and the discovery of new talent.
The Saudi Electronic Sports League is considered one of the most prominent pillars in the development of the Saudi electronic sports sector by supporting the country’s talent and preparing them to compete in regional and international forums.
