Saudi Arabia’s Crown Prince and Prime Minister Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud chaired a cabinet meeting in Riyadh on Tuesday.

At the beginning of the session, the Crown Prince briefed the Cabinet on the message he received from King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa of the Kingdom of Bahrain, which spoke about the relationship between the two brotherly countries.

The Cabinet reviewed the current regional and international situation and reaffirmed Saudi Arabia’s commitment to support the mission of the Gaza Peace Committee as an interim authority to end the conflict, promote reconstruction, and pave the way for security and stability for countries and peoples in the region, SPA reported.

In a statement to SPA after the meeting, Saudi Media Minister Salman Al Dosari said the Cabinet praised the Saudi delegation’s participation in the World Economic Forum (WEF) annual meeting in Davos, highlighting progress towards achieving the Saudi Vision 2030 goals.

The Cabinet also welcomed Saudi Arabia’s hosting of the WEF Global Cooperation and Growth Conference scheduled for April 22-23, strengthening Saudi Arabia’s role in promoting global economic stability and strengthening communication between developed and developing countries to address common global challenges.

The Cabinet expressed gratitude for the patronage of Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud at the Third World Labor Market Conference in Riyadh and praised the resulting agreements aimed at strengthening the workforce, harnessing artificial intelligence and building a sustainable ecosystem. The Cabinet also praised the King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSrelief) for launching its 2026 Plan. The plan comprises 422 humanitarian projects around the world and reflects Saudi Arabia’s determined approach to providing assistance to people in need.

The Cabinet considered several reports on completed and ongoing projects and programs in the comprehensive development process. The conference praised the rapid progress of the housing program, which has succeeded in raising the national homeownership rate to 66.2% by the end of 2025 and has reached more than 1 million beneficiaries.

The Cabinet also highlighted that more than 700 international companies have chosen Saudi Arabia as their regional headquarters, reflecting Saudi Arabia’s achievements in the infrastructure sector and attractive business environment.

In line with the National Transport and Logistics Strategy under Saudi Vision 2030, the Cabinet considered the opening of new expansion facilities at King Khalid International Airport in Riyadh and the opening of Al Jouf International Airport as two key pillars to expand air connectivity, improve passenger experience, and keep pace with economic and development progress.
