“Salman Relief” launches food basket distribution project in the Republic of Uzbekistan for the year 2026 – Saudi News

King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center, at the headquarters of the Islamic Government Charitable Fund of Uzbekistan in the capital Tashkent, has launched the fifth phase of the project to distribute food baskets in the Republic of Uzbekistan towards the year 2026 AD.

The inauguration ceremony was attended by Mr. Saad bin Nasser Abu Hamid, Ambassador of the Administration of the Two Holy Mosques of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Mr. Sheikh Hamid Yan Akhmatobekov, Vice-Chairman of the Muslim Administration of Uzbekistan, Mr. Jehangir Salamov, Chairman of the Board of Charitable Endowments Fund, and the center team.

The project aims to distribute 6,060 food baskets containing basic food items, benefiting 36,000 people in 14 provinces of the Republic of Uzbekistan.

This is part of the relief and humanitarian projects provided by Saudi Arabia through its humanitarian arm, the King Salman Relief Center, which provides food security to people and countries in need around the world.

King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center, the headquarters of the Charitable Fund of the Uzbekistan Muslim Administration in the capital Tashkent, has launched the fifth phase of the food basket distribution project in the Republic of Uzbekistan towards 2026.

The inauguration ceremony was attended by Mr. Saad bin Nasser Abu Haymid, Administrative Ambassador of the Two Holy Mosques of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Mr. Sheikh Hamid Yan Ashmatobekov, Deputy Head of the Islamic Government of Uzbekistan, Mr. Jihankir Salamov, Chairman of the Board of Charitable Funds, and the Center’s team.

The project aims to distribute 6,060 food baskets containing essential items, benefiting 36,000 people in 14 provinces of the Republic of Uzbekistan.

The initiative is part of a humanitarian relief project provided by Saudi Arabia through its humanitarian arm, the King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center, to ensure food security for poor people and countries around the world.
