British real estate developer LEO Development has announced a strategic partnership with The Robe, a joint venture between leading master developers Emaar Properties and Dubai Holding, to bring its lifestyle hospitality concept, The Robe Home Muscat Expressway, to the Sultanate of Oman.
This collaboration marks Robe’s debut in the Sultanate of Oman, with a pipeline of projects planned across Muscat and other strategic ITCs, Free Economic Zones, and Special Economic Zones in Oman.
The first of several planned developments, Robe Home Muscat Expressway is centrally located near Muscat Hills with direct access to major road networks.
This location is close to Muscat’s main business districts, urban destinations, Oman Convention and Exhibition Center (OCEC), and Muscat International Airport.
The project will consist of fully-appointed one- and two-bedroom apartments and lofts, supported by a range of curated lifestyle amenities, including a lap pool with Jacuzzi, rooftop garden, retail and co-working spaces designed for modern urban living, and the brand’s iconic Rove Café.
“We are proud to announce our partnership with Rove, which brings a fresh and relevant approach to branded residential living in Oman,” said Viktor Serenkov, Chairman of LEO Development, at the launch. “This partnership reflects our shared vision to deliver developments that meet evolving lifestyle expectations and are defined by intention, cultural sensitivity and long-term value. Rove Home Muscat Highway is the first step in a broader pipeline that we believe will redefine urban life in the Sultanate.”
The project was announced in the presence of Qais bin Mohammed bin Musa Al Yousef, Chairman of the Special Economic Zones and Free Zones Authority. Shaikh Faisal bin Abdullah Al Rawas, Chairman of OCCI; Munir Al Muniri, Deputy Director-General for Operations, Oman Investment Authority; Dubai Holding is headed by Chief Operating Officer Paul Bridger.
The partnership lays the foundation for the development of multiple Rove projects across Oman, supporting both partners’ long-term regional growth ambitions and strengthening Oman’s position as an emerging destination for contemporary lifestyle hospitality.
This partnership was strengthened with the signing of Robe Home Muscat Expressway, Oman’s first branded residential development. This project marks a significant milestone for LEO Development in bringing an internationally recognized lifestyle brand to the Omani market.
Paul Bridger, Chief Operating Officer of Rove Hotels, said: “We are very proud to partner with LEO Development to bring Rove to Oman. LEO’s deep understanding of the local market, combined with Rove’s lifestyle-led design philosophy, creates a strong platform for long-term growth.”
“This project demonstrates our commitment to Oman’s future and sets the stage for multiple developments across the country,” he added. -TradeArabia News Service
