Muscat: The 5th Takataf Bay Exhibition opened on Thursday at Fraser Suites in Bowsher under the patronage of Sayyida Dr Raya bint Qais Al Said, offering a variety of options to prepare for Eid.
The exhibition is organized by Her Highness Sayyida Hujaijah bint Jaifar Al Said, founder of Takatuf Bay Exhibition, in strategic partnership with the Small and Medium Enterprises Development Authority (Ryada) and the Oman Chamber of Commerce and Industry, with support from the Oman Energy Association (OPAL) and Oman Liquefied Natural Gas (Oman LNG). These partnerships highlight the importance of integrating the public and private sectors in supporting small and medium-sized enterprises.
This edition brings together over 140 designers, creatives and entrepreneurs from a wide range of sectors from the Sultanate of Oman, the United Arab Emirates and the Kingdom of Bahrain, showcasing the richness of creativity in the Gulf and responding to market demands.
Sayyida Hujaijah asserted that the Takatuf Bay Exhibition will continue its mission of empowering small and medium-sized enterprises by providing a platform that combines sales opportunities, product exhibition and capacity building, thereby contributing to the sustainability of these projects, adding that the main new feature this time is the launch of the “Takatuf Entrepreneurs Programme”.
This edition features over 140 designers, creators, and entrepreneurs.
The program, in collaboration with the Ministry of Industry, Commerce and Investment Promotion, the Small and Medium Enterprises Development Authority, the Development Bank and the Social Protection Fund, aims to raise entrepreneurs’ awareness of the services provided by government agencies that support the SME sector in the Sultanate of Oman.
The program also includes specialized sessions on effective marketing strategies, project management and financial management, as well as presentations of success stories emerging from previous Takatafu Bay exhibitions, which serve as realistic and inspirational models of entrepreneurial success.
The three-day exhibition ends on February 7th and will be open to visitors from 10am to 11pm each day.
Building on the success of the previous edition, the organization of the 5th Takatafu Bay Expo will further strengthen its position as a reliable economic platform that supports entrepreneurs, promotes Gulf cooperation and contributes to national economic development.
