‘Environmental security’: No responsibility for those who report wildlife invaders – Saudi News

Special environmental security forces continued to track down those who violate the environment and wildlife and arrested citizens who violated environmental regimes. Legal proceedings were brought against him for the violation of grazing nine camels in areas where grazing is prohibited in the Royal Imam Abdulaziz Bin Mohammed Reserve.

The military confirmed that the fine for camel grazing is 500 riyals per camel, and called on people to report any incidents indicating attacks on the environment or wildlife, and acknowledged that all reports will be treated as completely confidential without any liability on the part of reporters.

The military also arrested and instituted legal proceedings against a citizen who set fire to undesignated areas within the Tuwaiku Nature Reserve and failed to follow vegetation protection instructions and guidelines.

The military confirmed that the penalty for setting fire outside of designated areas in forests and national parks is a fine of up to (3,000) riyals.

The Environmental Safety Task Force continues to track down environmental and wildlife violators and arrested a citizen who violated environmental regulations by allowing nine camels to graze in a prohibited grazing area of ​​the Royal Imam Abdulaziz Bin Mohammed Reserve. Legal proceedings were brought against him.
