Ras Al Khaimah’s leading real estate developer RAK Properties has announced the launch of The Strand, a brand new residential development located within the Marjan Beach Master Plan in the Northern Emirates.

A landmark mixed-use project, The Strand comprehensively realizes RAK Properties’ long-term commitment to expand its footprint in mainland Ras Al Khaimah by introducing a vibrant new master-planned community created to promote well-being, opportunity and livability, the developer said in a statement.

A development of considerable size and ambition, including a vast land area of 187,000sqm, The Strand features a GFA of 540,000sqm, allocated across an extensive network of well-built homes, retail hubs, green spaces, public realm and community-focused precincts, with the first phase of residential units expected to be announced shortly.

Speaking at the launch, CEO Sameh Muhtadi said: “The launch of The Strand is a pivotal moment for RAK Properties, not only expanding our development pipeline but also a powerful testament to our commitment to building truly purposeful, integrated and livable communities.”

“Located in the heart of the Marjan Beach District, and very close to Wynn Resorts, a large public park, beach clubs and nearby hotels, we are designing a community built for the future, a place where people who love music, food and culture can live, work and connect, a place that fosters creativity, opportunity and happiness while promoting a true sense of belonging,” he said.

Signaling RAK Properties’ trajectory as a multi-master planned development company focused on destination living, The Strand will directly contribute to the rapidly increasing demand for quality homes in Ras Al Khaimah’s fast-growing real estate market.

The premium development says it has been shaped by ongoing community insights to create a people-first, residential-led destination where innovation, connectivity and modern living are harmoniously integrated.

The result is a modern urban hub anchored by adjacency to a large public park, bridge access to the Wynn Resort, and proximity to a variety of beach clubs and hotels.

Blending a contemporary lifestyle with a unique focus on nature, The Strand has cultivated a unique ‘sense of place’ that sets it apart from other large-scale residential projects taking shape in the UAE and further afield.

Thoughtful design is evident throughout, manifested through open spaces that encourage movement and interaction between residents and visitors. Our diverse collection of modern apartments has been meticulously planned with an emphasis on efficient layouts, high-quality finishes and natural light, enhancing their appeal as both personal sanctuaries and extended-stay homes.

Complementing this is a network of amenities created to enhance and enhance the everyday, with parks, playgrounds, gardens and quiet promenades supporting a pedestrian-friendly streetscape ecosystem and providing easy access to retail, dining and social hubs to seamlessly integrate life, work and leisure.

The Strand’s unique lifestyle is defined by three interconnected districts: Creative, Urban and Garden, each designed to accommodate different aspects of modern living, ensuring a holistic and balanced community experience.

Urban districts serve as the heartbeat of a community’s energy. It’s a vibrant hub with a state-of-the-art co-working zone, a variety of retail and dining options, and a lively street with a focus on convenience.

Fostering collaboration and artistic expression, the Creative District is the dynamic heart of the Strand with studios, workshops and cultural halls, providing a platform for artists, innovators and entrepreneurs to connect, create and share their work in an engaged and collaborative environment.

The Garden District focuses on health and rejuvenation, offering residents a serene natural landscape including lush parks, well-equipped playgrounds, and dedicated routes for outdoor exercise. Along with a café and relaxation space, The Garden offers a peaceful respite from the everyday.

“The Strand is delivering on its strategic commitment to expand its milestone projects by introducing a major new master plan that will shape the future of Ras Al Khaimah,” Muftadi said.

“This development directly supports the emirate’s continued emergence as a premier destination for residents and investors, and we are confident that it will set a bold new benchmark for integrated community living,” he added.
