Camco Invest, a regional non-bank financial giant with one of the largest assets under management in the Middle East, has announced a partnership with Baddi Investment to create a R500 million ($133 million) real estate investment fund to develop the iconic Baddi Tower within the Sports Boulevard project in Riyadh.

The partnership covers the development of one of only six towers permitted along the 135-kilometre sports boulevard, positioning the project as a rare institutionally structured investment opportunity in one of Saudi Arabia’s most ambitious urban transformation initiatives.

Strategically located between Riyadh’s sports and entertainment destinations and directly opposite the Imam Mohammad Ibn Saud Islamic University, the tower will integrate the entrance of the metro station connecting the Yellow and Purple Lines within the building itself.

Its design reflects the Salmaniyah urban code of sports boulevards, combining architectural identity with smart infrastructure and seamless connectivity. The development is in line with Saudi Vision 2030 and will contribute to improving the quality of life in the capital through innovative real estate projects that integrate urban planning, infrastructure and advanced logistics.

Commenting on the partnership, Mohamed Al Faris, CEO of Camco Investment – Saudi, said: “This partnership is an important step in our expansion strategy as we continue to pursue high-quality, institutionally structured opportunities in the Kingdom.”

“Sports Boulevard is an innovative national project and our participation in the development of Badi Tower reflects our commitment to investing in ground-breaking assets that provide long-term value for our clients while contributing to the evolution of Saudi Arabia’s cities,” he said.

“The project’s unique location, infrastructure integration and rarity create an attractive investment proposition. Through this partnership, we will provide institutional and high-net-worth investors access to differentiated real estate opportunities in line with Saudi Arabia’s long-term growth and diversification agenda. “By expanding our clients’ access to alternative investment opportunities, we will be able to further support their unique objectives and build customized solutions that suit their diverse investment needs and risk preferences.”

Dr. Abdulaziz Alangarhi, Chief Executive Officer of Badie Investment, commented: “Badie Tower represents a rare opportunity to develop an architectural icon in one of the world’s most ambitious urban plans. Our collaboration with Saudi Arabia’s Kamco Invest brings together investment expertise and development vision to deliver a landmark project that will improve quality of life and support Riyadh’s transformation into a global destination.”
