Doha, Qatar: QIA announced yesterday that it has joined as a new investor in Apptronik’s $520 million Series AX extension round, along with AT&T Ventures and John Deere.
The extension follows Apptronik’s initial Series A oversubscription of $415 million in 2025, bringing its total funding to nearly $1 billion.
Existing investors participating in this round include B Capital, Google, Mercedes-Benz, and PEAK6. With the new capital, Apptronik will accelerate production of its award-winning humanoid robot Apollo and expand its global network of commercial deployments and pilot programs.
This investment will enable Apptronik to accelerate time-to-market and scale critical efforts to support the growth of its retail, manufacturing and logistics customer base.
This includes state-of-the-art facilities for robot training and data collection, as well as advanced projects designed to enable high-impact, real-world use cases.
The funding will also support Apptronik’s continued innovation in human-centered robot design, paving the way for its long-awaited new robots scheduled to debut in 2026.
