499 instant violations at commercial establishments in the city – Saudi News

The Ministry of Commerce’s oversight team in Medina conducted 10,523 on-site visits to dealers in preparation for the month of Ramadan.

The team initiated 3,241 reports and issued 499 immediate violations against non-compliant commercial establishments. The team confirmed that the pace of work on the market is progressing normally in terms of product abundance and supply flow of consumer goods.

The Department of Commerce called on all consumers to report violations through the “Commercial Report” application, 1900 reporting centers, or the Department of Commerce’s official website on the Internet.

The ministry branch said it actively inspected bakeries and factories producing all types of bread and Ramadan products to ensure compliance with prescribed weights and prices and implement a list of fines and penalties for violators, ensuring that basic daily necessities are plentiful and there is sufficient stock in quantity and quality to meet expected demand during the holy month of Ramadan.
