RIYADH — King Salman, Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, has approved the launch of the sixth edition of the National Campaign for Charity.
The campaign, organized through the National Platform for Philanthropy (Ehsan), will launch on Friday evening, the third day of Ramadan, which corresponds to February 20th. This initiative underlines the King’s continued support for philanthropy, with the aim of maximizing the impact of philanthropy during Ramadan.
Ethan’s campaign highlights King Salman and Crown Prince and Prime Minister Mohammed bin Salman’s commitment to philanthropy and encourages social contribution during this rewarding month.
Dr. Majid Al Qasabi, Minister of Commerce and Chairman of the Ehsan Monitoring Committee, expressed his gratitude to the Saudi leadership for its support and emphasized the platform’s role in strengthening philanthropy across the Kingdom based on religious values and Arab traditions.
This campaign builds on past successes, fueled by community spirit and confidence in Ethan’s governance. The platform has processed over 330 million donation transactions since its launch in anticipation of increased activity during Ramadan.
