At the unveiling ceremony of the new Soueast S08 DM, Chinese automaker Soueast Motors announced the launch of a new phase in the Saudi market, as well as signing multiple agreements with partners and dealers in different regions of the country under the slogan “Leading the New Era – For Those Who Lead the Vision.”
The event was held at the Park Hyatt Jeddah in Jeddah in the presence of prominent partners, automotive industry representatives, media experts and social media influencers.
Strategies that go beyond traditional car sales
Ronnie Chan, General Manager of South East Saudi Arabia, asserted that the Saudi market is one of the strongest and most dynamic markets in the region. He said the company brings more than 30 years of manufacturing experience since it was founded in China in 1995 before gradually expanding to global markets.
The brand said it will relaunch globally in 2024 as part of a new phase of development and expansion and has since expanded to around 46 countries around the world. He emphasized that the company’s strategy in Saudi Arabia goes beyond vehicle sales and focuses on building a fully integrated ecosystem that includes a strong distribution network, advanced logistics infrastructure, and a comprehensive customer experience starting from product quality to after-sales service.
He further added, “We believe Saudi Arabia is a promising market, especially given its vibrant young population and cultural harmony that fosters long-term partnerships. Establishing a regional headquarters in Saudi Arabia will improve the speed of decision-making and bring us closer to our customers.”
Products tailored to the Saudi market
In terms of product lineup, the company said that in addition to the new S08 DM, it has launched several models including S06, S07, and S09, and plans to introduce more models in the next phase.
He confirmed that the vehicle design has been tailored to meet the specific needs of the Saudi market, including climatic conditions, while also catering to the preferences of female drivers and younger customers by offering an easy driving experience, flexible control systems, and a clear and user-friendly dashboard.
Infrastructure that ensures customer trust
Sales Director Faisal Shihasz said the company has established a large-scale spare parts center in Jeddah covering over 10,000 square meters, achieving up to 96% parts availability and delivery within up to 48 hours, ensuring customer convenience and strengthening post-purchase confidence.
He added that to ensure nationwide access and service reliability, Southeast has established more than 12 service centers across the Kingdom, including Riyadh, Jeddah and Dammam.
He emphasized that one of the main challenges facing new brands is the availability of spare parts, noting that the company has prioritized building logistics infrastructure in Saudi Arabia before its official launch, reflecting its long-term commitment to the local market.
It is noteworthy that Soueast and Jetour are sibling brands that share technology and platforms, providing the Saudi market with new options that combine quality, innovation and reliability, reflecting Soueast’s alliances with trusted industry groups.
