The Saudi Arabian Central Bank (SAMA) announced that it has started drafting the “Regulations Regulating the Practice of Management and Operational Activities of Cash Centers”, seeking public input from stakeholders and experts through the “Reconnaissance” platform of the National Center for Competitiveness.

This project was born out of the objectives of the Central Bank of Saudi Arabia to maintain financial stability, support the stability of the financial sector, increase confidence in the financial sector, and support economic growth, in addition to the central bank’s role of monitoring and supervision over the financial institutions that supervise their activities, in addition to the objective of issuing related regulations and instructions, and regulating cash affairs, their management, and all other related operations. This project was prepared with the aim of setting up a clear framework for organizing the management and operational activities of cash centers and defining the controls and standards to be observed.

Opinions and comments on the draft Regulations Regulating the Practices of Management and Operation of Cash Centers will be accepted for a period of 15 days and will be considered after the specified deadline. To approve the final version.

The project aims to regulate the management and operation of cash centers and establishes a clear framework that defines the controls and standards to be followed.

Opinions and comments regarding the draft “Cash Center Management and Operation Regulations” will be accepted for 15 days, and the document will be finalized after a certain period of time.
