Abu Dhabi Customs recorded a 9.4% increase in customs transactions conducted through digital platforms in 2025 compared to 2024, with customs transactions accounting for 30.6% of the total, reflecting an increase of 6.6%.
Customer satisfaction with services provided through the Abu Dhabi Government Digital Services Platform TAMM reached 97.1 percent, up from 94.7 percent a year earlier.
In the same situation, the service quality index increased from 88 percent in 2024 to 93.9 percent in 2025, and the customer experience index recorded 92.5 percent from 87.3 percent. The TAMM platform’s Customer Effort Index decreased from 2.54 to 2.25.
Digital services contributed to the reduction of 6.2 million face-to-face visits in 2025, with total financial savings for customers amounting to approximately AED 850.3 million. This reflects the level of achievement in customer journey development and procedural efficiency, in line with the objectives of the Abu Dhabi Effortless Customer Experience Program, and contributes to strengthening the emirate’s position as a leading destination for government customer experience.
Rashed Rahej Al Mansoori, Director-General of Abu Dhabi Customs, said that the growth in digital customs transactions and improved customer experience achieved during 2025 reflects the success of Abu Dhabi Customs’ strategy in developing an integrated digital services ecosystem based on artificial intelligence tools and advanced technologies. The strategy puts customers and business sectors at the heart of customs processes, supports trade movements and supply chains in accordance with global best practices, aligns with the Abu Dhabi Government’s aspirations in digital leadership, and takes an approach that contributes to supporting the emirate’s competitiveness while strengthening its position as a global hub for trade and logistics services.
Mr. Al Mansoori stressed the importance of continued efforts to implement the latest digital technologies and pursue continuous development in collaboration with strategic partners, in implementing the directives of visionary leaders, to ensure the provision of highly efficient services that support the national economy and achieve the Sustainable Development Goals.
