RIYADH — Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman prayed to Almighty God to grant peace, prosperity and stability to the Palestinian people, the Muslim Ummah and the whole world during Ramadan.
“We pray to Almighty God to bless us in this noble month, accept our good deeds, and perpetuate the security and prosperity of our nation,” the King said in a speech to Saudi citizens, expatriates, and Muslims throughout Saudi Arabia and around the world on the occasion of the holy month of Ramadan in 1447 AH.
Media Minister Salman Al Dossary gave a speech on behalf of the King. “We would like to celebrate the opening of the gates of paradise and the arrival of the blessed Ramadan, a month that contains nights more wonderful than a thousand moons. We ask Almighty God to help us in fasting, praying and performing acts of worship,” the King said.
“We praise Almighty God for giving our blessed nation the honor of serving the Two Holy Mosques and its visitors, including Hajj and Umrah pilgrims. With God’s help, we will continue on this steady path established by the leaders of our country,” he said.
Addressing Muslims, the King said, “The month of Ramadan is a great opportunity to purify our souls, to do righteous deeds, to strengthen our compassion and unity, and to thank Almighty God for his blessings, visible and invisible.”
