Saudi AI startup Deep.SA has announced the participation of Vision Ventures in its pre-seed round, extending the SAR 4.5 million it previously raised from TAM and Raed Ventures. Founded in 2025 by Mohammed Daggas, Deep.SA develops locally hosted AI platforms and models tailored for government and enterprise customers, with a focus on operational efficiency, cost optimization, and a secure data environment aligned with Saudi regulations. This investment is an extension of a $1.2 million pre-seed round announced in August 2025, led by Tam Development and Raed Ventures. The company plans to use the funding to accelerate product development, expand its Saudi-built AI infrastructure, and expand its recently launched alPlatformai platform, which enables secure and compliant access to artificial intelligence models.

press release:

Saudi artificial intelligence company Deep.SA has announced the participation of Vision Ventures in its pre-seed funding round, extending its previous R4.5 million raise backed by TAM and Raed Ventures.

This new investment will accelerate the development of locally hosted Saudi AI platforms and models, as well as support the expansion of customized AI solutions for government agencies and enterprises. Deep.SA focuses on improving operational efficiency and reducing costs through customized and secure AI systems.

Founded to build a sovereign AI infrastructure in the Kingdom, Deep.SA develops locally deployed artificial intelligence solutions designed to meet the needs of multiple sectors in Saudi Arabia and the wider region. The company focuses on data localization, regulatory compliance, and digital sovereignty.

Deep.SA recently launched ‘alPlatformai’, a secure AI access platform. This enables institutions to deploy and manage AI models within environments that require strict data governance, security controls, and compliance with local regulations.

Through its technology stack, Deep.SA aims to enable organizations to confidently deploy AI within a regulated and protected environment that protects the nation’s data and agency operations.
