As part of Al Akhdar’s early preparation program for participation in the 2026 World Cup, technical assistant staff from the first national team met with club players from Al Shabaab and Al Riyadh who are candidates to join the national team.
The two meetings underlined the importance of the current stage and the need to focus entirely on the technical and physical aspects, in addition to the review of the physical indicators and figures of each player, in addition to the commitment to the approved health and nutrition program, and it was confirmed that this will contribute to improving the level of preparation for the upcoming competitions.
The meeting also included discussing coordination mechanisms in the coming period and strengthening direct communication between technical staff and players within the framework of an approved working methodology, aimed at unifying efforts and achieving the highest level of integration between national teams and clubs.
This will take place as an extension of a series of meetings with assistant technical staff and designated players, in an integrated action plan aimed at preparing the players physically and mentally for the World Cup, which will be completed in the coming period with players from Al Fateh, Al Ahdood and Damak clubs.
