Today (Thursday), Abdul Rahman Saleh Al-Muharrami (Abu Zara’a), a member of the Yemeni Presidential Leadership Council, called on the people of Aden to unite, reject rumors, uplift the spirit of national responsibility, and come together to protect the temporary capital Aden and maintain state institutions.
Abu Zarah writes in “X”: “My people, faithful sons of Aden, the security and stability of Aden remains our priority, and compromise and complacency will not be accepted. Nor will we tolerate any attempts to destabilize public tranquility or drag our cities into chaos or senseless conflict, without undermining the Southern political line and its cause.”
“We look forward to the South-South Dialogue hosted by Riyadh. This is a historic opportunity that we cherish and abide by, and we thank the Saudi leadership,” he added, underscoring full support for the government led by Dr. Shaya Al-Zindani.
Abu Zarah called on the entire government to improve the services and living conditions people experience, and to follow up and evaluate performance with care, transparency and accountability.
Addressing the people of Aden, he said, “Aden is a trust in the hands of all of us, and protecting it is a national duty that cannot be deviated from.” He added, “We must not do anything that harms people’s lives or increases suffering.” “We trust that our people recognize the importance of maintaining security and stability, away from political leadership and exploitation by political parties, and without compromising our cause. This is the starting point for the work and service delivery of our governments and institutions.”
