Official officials of the Presidency of the Presidential Leadership Council stressed that the Yemeni state will not allow Aden and the southern governorates to become a stage for chaos and the implementation of questionable regional projects.

He stressed that, with the support of the loyal brothers of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, the state continues to protect its people and its best interests and suppress all activities aimed at destabilizing security and stability, disrupting the construction and reconstruction process, or restoring state institutions.

Incitement and armed mobilization

The official said in a statement today, Friday, that the national leadership deeply regrets the acts of incitement, armed mobilization and repeated attempts by forces outside of law and order to attack state institutions in the temporary capital, Aden, resulting in casualties and injuries, a day after the first meeting of the new government, which began to prioritize improving conditions in the liberated provinces, improving services and improving the decent livelihood of the people.

He said security authorities responded with the utmost restraint to this irresponsible escalation, sought to block roads and disperse assemblies attempting to provoke riots, and targeted security forces carrying out their national duty of protecting sovereign institutions and maintaining public order in accordance with the law.

Achieving illegal political goals

They expressed deep regret for the casualties caused by this systematic escalation, and stressed that the parties that financed, armed, instigated and forced plainclothes soldiers into confrontation with the security forces bear full political, moral and legal responsibility for spilling more Yemeni blood and gambling with the security of the temporary capital and the interests of the people.

The national leadership affirmed its full respect for the constitutionally guaranteed right to peaceful expression, while stressing that any attempt to attack state institutions, disrupt their activities or use the streets as a means of pressure to achieve unjust political goals is a clear attack on the legitimacy of the constitution and the interests of the people and will be firmly opposed and not allowed to be repeated under any circumstances.

A decisive message to establish stability

The official pointed out that the convening of the new government in Aden sends a decisive message that the state will continue to build on the efforts of the Saudi brothers to restore order to all institutions from within, establish a model of stability, normalize the situation, improve public services, and establish a promising phase in the national life by initiating a package of development projects with immediate effect.

He stressed that the timing of this escalation, which coincides with visible improvements in services and preparations are underway for the Saudi-sponsored southern conference, raises serious questions about the dubious role of some regional powers in trying to recreate chaos and thwart any efforts to unify the national hierarchy in the face of existential threats represented by the Iranian regime-backed terrorist Houthi militias.

The official called on the residents of Aden and other liberated governorates to cooperate with the security services to protect the gains achieved and not to get drawn into calls for chaos by elements fleeing justice and disbanded groups supported from abroad, stressing that the future of the South will not be built by attacking or destroying state institutions, but by rebuilding them, improving services, and conscious and responsible participation in the upcoming Southern Dialogue.

Responsible officials from the Presidency of the Presidential Leadership Council stressed that the Yemeni state will not allow Aden and the southern governorates to become a battleground for chaos and the implementation of questionable regional projects.

He affirmed that the State, with the support of loyal compatriots of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, is moving forward to protect the people and their supreme interests and to prevent any activities aimed at destabilizing security and stability, interfering with the path of construction and reconstruction, or restoring state institutions.

incitement and mobilization

The official said in a statement today, Friday, that on the eve of the first meeting of the new government, which began setting goals to improve conditions in the liberal province, improve services and promote a decent life for the people, the national leadership observed with great regret the actions taken by forces outside the system and the law, including incitement, armed mobilization, and repeated attempts to attack state institutions in the temporary capital Aden, resulting in casualties.

He said security forces responded with utmost restraint to this irresponsible escalation, blocking roads and dispersing assemblies attempting to incite chaos, and targeting security forces fulfilling their national duty to protect sovereign institutions and maintain public order in accordance with the law.

Achieving illegal political objectives

They expressed deep regret for the casualties caused by this systematic escalation and affirmed that the entities responsible for funding, arming, inciting, and directing civilian-clothed military personnel to confront security forces bear full political, moral, and legal responsibility for further shedding of Yemeni blood, gambling with the security of the temporary capital, and the interests of the people.

The national leadership, while affirming full respect for the constitutional right to peaceful expression, stressed that any attempt to attack state institutions, disrupt their activities or use the streets as a means of pressure to achieve illegal political objectives is a blatant attack on the legitimacy of the Constitution and the interests of the people and will be dealt with decisively, ensuring that it will not recur under any circumstances.

A decisive message to consolidate stability

The official pointed out that the convening of the new government in Aden represents a decisive message of the country’s determination to restore the regularity of all institutions from within, building on the efforts of Saudi compatriots to strengthen the stability model, normalize the situation, improve public services, launch a series of development projects with rapid impact and lay the foundations for a promising phase of national life.

He confirmed that the timing of this escalation, coinciding with visible improvements in services and ongoing preparations for the Southern Conference under Saudi auspices, raises serious questions about the dubious role of some regional powers in attempting to recreate chaos and thwart any efforts to unify the national hierarchy in the face of the existential threat posed by the Iranian regime-backed terrorist Houthi militias.

The official called on residents of Aden and other liberal governorates to cooperate with the security forces to protect the gains achieved and not to get drawn into calls for chaos by elements fleeing justice and disbanded groups supported from abroad, asserting that the future of the South will not be built by attacking or destroying state institutions, but by rebuilding them, improving services and consciously and responsibly participating in the anticipated Southern Dialogue.
