1% growth brings non-oil revenue to 505.8 billion riyals – Saudi News

The Ministry of Finance revealed the results of the state budget for 2025, revealing that the state’s total revenue was 1.11 trillion riyals, expenditures were approximately 1.389 trillion riyals, and the deficit amounted to 276.61 billion riyals.

According to the report, the total oil revenue was SR606.54 billion, representing 54.55% of the total revenue, and the non-oil revenue was approximately SR505.82 billion, representing 45.45% of the total revenue, with non-oil revenue increasing by 1% compared to 2024.

The Ministry of Finance revealed the actual costs of a number of sectors, including “workers’ compensation” expenses of approximately 574.53 billion riyals, “use of goods and services” expenses of 316.34 billion riyals, and financing costs of 54.47 billion riyals. Subsidies amount to 35.91 billion riyals, subsidies 5.19 billion riyals, and other expenses include social security expenses of 99.32 billion riyals. The amount was SR 134.16 billion, and non-financial expenditure (capital) amounted to SR 168.51 billion.

Regarding the fourth quarter budget, revenue was approximately 276.74 billion riyals, expenditure was 371.59 billion riyals, and the deficit was 94.85 billion riyals.

44% of non-oil revenue in the fourth quarter was SR122.56 billion, while oil revenue was SR154.19 billion.

The Ministry of Finance revealed the national budget results for fiscal year 2025, showing that while the total national revenue amounted to 1.11 trillion riyals, expenditures were approximately 1.389 trillion riyals, resulting in a deficit of 276.61 billion riyals.
