Egyptian director Ahmed Khaled Amin denied rumors that artist Mostafa Shaban interfered with the script or deleted scenes of his colleagues in the “Daesh” series, stressing that the latter “is not an autocratic artist and does not interfere in the work at all”, but rather respects all members of the team.

In a televised statement, Amin explained that what was raised in this regard was baseless, stressing that the management of the work was primarily the responsibility of the director.

distinct directing school

He pointed out the importance of the director’s role in directing scenes, determining camera angles and choosing the rhythm of the montage, based on his own professional experience and the influence of the school of directors Sherif and Amr Arafa, who place artistic discipline as a top priority on set.

Cooperative and professional star

He emphasized that Mustafa Shaaban gave all actors enough space to play their roles and was keen on the comfort of the working team, pointing out that potential disagreements could only arise within the framework of normal artistic discussions, and did not occur during cooperation on “Daesh”.
