The Saudi government on Tuesday reiterated its firm stance and continued support for efforts to achieve security and peace and strengthen development and prosperity in the region and the world.
Crown Prince and Prime Minister Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud chaired the cabinet meeting held in Jeddah.
He briefed ministers on Monday’s meeting with Egyptian President Abdel Fattah al-Sisi. The leaders discussed ways to further develop the historic and close ties between the two countries across various fields.
It also addressed key issues in the Arab and Islamic world, developments in the Middle East, and continued efforts to address issues related to regional security and stability.
Crown Prince Mohammed also briefed his ministers on the message he received from Kazakh President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev.

Ministers also discussed regional and international developments.
The Cabinet reviewed recent developments in the work of joint committees between Saudi Arabia and several countries and discussed ongoing developments in coordination and cooperation initiatives to further strengthen and expand both bilateral and multilateral relations.
The Committee reviewed several internal reports and expressed its deep appreciation for the widespread public engagement in national initiatives aimed at promoting the values of solidarity and giving, while supporting philanthropy across the Kingdom.
