Citizen arrested for grazing violation in Royal Abdulaziz Reserve, violating environmental regulations – Saudi News

The Special Forces for Environmental Security arrested a citizen who violated environmental regulations by grazing 24 camels in areas where grazing is prohibited in the Royal Abdulaziz Reserve and initiated legal proceedings against him.

The military confirms that the fine for camel grazing is a fine of (500) riyals per camel and calls on people to report any incidents indicating attacks on the environment or wildlife on the number (911) in the areas of Mecca al-Mukarramah, Medina, Riyadh and Sharqiyah, and on the numbers (999) and (996) in other areas of Saudi Arabia, and all reports will be treated as follows: The information provider will not be held responsible and will maintain complete confidentiality.

Special forces for environmental security arrested a citizen and initiated legal proceedings against him for violating environmental regulations by grazing 24 camels in areas where grazing is prohibited in the Royal Abdulaziz Reserve.

The military confirmed that the fine for camel grazing is a fine of (500) riyals per camel and called on the public to report any incidents indicating violations against the environment or wildlife to the number (911) in the regions of Makkah, Madinah, Riyadh and Eastern Province, and to the numbers (999) and (996) in the rest of the Kingdom. All reports will be treated as completely confidential and there will be no liability to the reporter.
