Dr. Soliman Fakih Hospital in Jeddah has achieved a new milestone on the global medical map by being included in the list of the world’s top 250 hospitals in the 2026 rankings published by Newsweek magazine for the first time.

The hospital is the first private hospital in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to receive this honor, confirming its leadership position and the high quality of integrated health services it provides in accordance with the highest international standards.

The hospital also continued to maintain its national leadership by being ranked the Best Private Hospital in Saudi Arabia for the fifth consecutive year, securing second place among all public and private hospitals across the Kingdom. This achievement reflects continued excellence in performance and continued confidence from patients and the community in the level of care provided.

The list of the world’s top 250 hospitals included only three Saudi hospitals. Among them, Dr. Soliman Fakih Hospital was ranked second in the country within the world classification and the highest among Saudi private hospitals in the list, further strengthening its advanced position and competitiveness at both regional and international levels.

Newsweek World’s Best Hospitals rankings are based on a comprehensive evaluation methodology built on four key pillars: quality of care, patient safety, recommendations from medical experts around the world, and patient experience survey results. It also incorporates the level of implementation of patient-reported outcome measures (PROMs) that assess the impact of health services on patients’ quality of life and clinical outcomes.

The selection of the world’s top 250 hospitals is further determined by the strength of international peer recommendations, excellence in quality and patient experience metrics, research reputation and scientific contributions. Inclusion on this list is a direct reflection of institutional and clinical excellence on a global scale.

Fakeeh Care Commenting on the achievement, Group President Dr. Mazen bin Soliman Fakih said: “Joining the world’s top 250 hospitals is a vital milestone in our journey and reflects the fruits of our integrated organizational efforts and continued investment in medical expertise and cutting-edge technology. We have consistently placed patient safety and quality of care at the core of our priorities, and this international recognition confirms that we are moving in the right direction.”

He further added, “This global recognition will strengthen the presence of the Saudi healthcare sector on the international stage and support the Saudi Vision 2030 goal of building an advanced healthcare system centered on quality, innovation and sustainability, which will ultimately contribute to improving the quality of life of local communities.”

Dr. Soliman Fakih Hospital continues to strengthen its culture of excellence by promoting integrated patient-centered medical services and adopting modern care models in line with international best practices, contributing to superior clinical outcomes and a safer and more compassionate patient experience for individuals and their families.
