Ras Al Khaimah – Ras Al Khaimah Economic Development Department (DED) completed 27,788 electronic transactions in 2025 compared to 26,028 electronic transactions in 2024, recording a growth rate of 6.8%. This clearly reflects the accelerating pace of digital transformation in economic services.
The ministry said this growth demonstrates the success of its strategy to develop a digital services ecosystem, increase operational efficiency by enabling customers to easily and quickly complete transactions electronically, and enhance the experience for investors and entrepreneurs in the emirate.
It also pointed out that the number of electronic services provided to customers reached 53 services, accounting for 100% of the Ministry’s services available to customers. This step ensures that a comprehensive digital transformation of all services has been completed, in line with the government’s direction towards smart and integrated service delivery.
The ministry explained that digital transformation is an important pillar to strengthen the competitiveness of Ras Al Khaimah’s business environment by simplifying procedures, reducing transaction processing times and providing integrated services 24 hours a day without visiting service centers.
This achievement is the result of upgrading electronic systems, expanding smart services and strengthening electronic integration with relevant institutions, thereby contributing to creating a flexible and growth-stimulating investment environment, it added.
