The Israeli military has announced that it will dismantle most of its air defense systems in western and central Iran, citing the targeting of missile launchers in Iran.
He reported that Iran had launched widespread attacks on targets in the center of the capital, and explained that the air force had carried out heavy strikes in the past 24 hours to gain air superiority and clear the way to Tehran.
He acknowledged that about 20,000 reservists had been called up to help civilians while Israel was under attack from Iran.
The Army’s Internal Front Command announced that it had called up “nearly 20,000 reservists” who had joined “regular forces and reserves operating across the country in the Home Front Forces within the past 24 hours.”
Meanwhile, Iran launched several new attacks against Israel and Gulf cities today, according to Iranian state television, with several Gulf cities witnessing a new wave of powerful explosions, while sirens rang out in Tel Aviv and central Israel after monitoring missile launches from Iran, and the Israeli military said its defenses had responded to the missile. He explained that defense systems were activated to intercept the missile. Citizens were asked to return to evacuation centers and sirens were sounded again in many parts of the country.
The military said missile attacks launched by Iran forced millions of people to flee to evacuation centers about 20 times in the past 24 hours.
