RIYADH — Saudi Arabia’s Ministry of Interior has asserted that the security situation in the kingdom remains stable despite continued developments in the region. He stressed that daily life continues as normal in all regions.

In a statement issued on Monday, the ministry said its security sector operates around the clock within the framework of integrated security and services to protect the nation and ensure the safety of all people living on its land.

The ministry stressed that the safety of Saudi Arabia, its visitors and residents remains its top priority.

He also called on the public to avoid spreading rumors and unverified videos and to rely only on official sources for information.

Earlier, the Saudi Ministry of Defense announced that it had intercepted seven drones that attempted to attack the Ras Tanura refinery and Prince Sultan Air Base.

The Ministry of Energy announced that some operating equipment at the refinery had been temporarily shut down as a precautionary measure, but oil supplies to local markets and derivative products were not affected.
