Al Nasr captain Cristiano Ronaldo sent a message of support to his fellow players through his ‘X’ account ahead of tonight’s match against NEOM at Awal Park Stadium in Round 25 of the Roshan Saudi Pro League, saying: “I am now recovering and ready to watch today’s match.” Come on, Nasr! ” This message received a great response, especially from the players and Nasrawi fans in general, and the Nasrawi team, which temporarily fell to second place in the Saudi league standings after Al Ahly defeated Al Ittihad 3-1 in the derby, is looking forward to regaining the top spot in the league. If Al Alamy wins tonight’s match, they will be able to take the lead and take another step towards their dream of winning the title.

Al Nasr coach Jesús announced that Ronaldo would be absent from the match against NEOM, explaining at a press conference: “The injury that Ronaldo sustained in his last match was more serious than expected and required rest and recovery.”

He added: “Cristiano traveled to Spain like other players who went to receive treatment for injuries. His injury required treatment by a dedicated therapist in Madrid. We hope that he will be able to return soon and help the team.”

He added: “According to the medical system, Cristiano will not be able to play in the Gulf game, so he has enough time to recover, so we have decided to travel for treatment.”
