Accenture announced it is expanding its presence in Saudi Arabia with the opening of a new global innovation center at its regional headquarters at King Abdullah Financial Center (CAFD) in Saudi Arabia. The center will be a strategic engine for comprehensive institutional change to help clients expand the reach of artificial intelligence implementation and build a future-ready workforce in line with Saudi Vision 2030.
The center is a hub of facilities to support a collaborative environment where Saudi companies can move from testing artificial intelligence to realizing full value at maximum scale. Within Accenture’s global innovation network, the center provides clients with practical access to emerging technologies and specialized solutions across a variety of sectors. The center will also serve as a launching pad for important sovereign initiatives, including collaborations with Microsoft, Google Cloud, and Oracle to accelerate digital innovation by migrating the most critical workloads and enabling local businesses to build secure prototypes of cloud computing and artificial intelligence environments and scale them across the Kingdom. This influence is evident in Accenture’s collaboration with the Social Insurance Corporation. The center has leveraged the center to accelerate advanced artificial intelligence efforts and successfully launch products quickly from initial concept.
Strategically located at the King Abdullah Financial Center, the center benefits from a world-class business system comprised of leading local and international companies. King Abdullah Financial District’s advanced infrastructure and status as a world-leading business and living destination place it at the heart of the Saudi economy. The opening of the center is a platform for innovation in line with Saudi Arabia’s Vision 2030 and strengthens King Abdullah Financial Center’s position as a key driver of economic transformation in Saudi Arabia.
The center’s technology capabilities also complement Accenture’s LearnVantage platform, which is investing $1 billion in AI-based skills upgrades globally. The platform is designed to bridge the digital talent gap by delivering comprehensive, personalized learning experiences at scale, enabling workforce transformation across the Kingdom. To maximize its impact, Accenture partners with global technology leaders such as SAP and Amazon Web Services to provide a complete and comprehensive upskilling and certification ecosystem, ensuring world-class enablement aligned to market needs and national priorities.
Accenture is accelerating the development of AI capabilities at scale through strategic collaborations with key national institutions. This commitment is embodied in groundbreaking agreements with key government agencies that will benefit from the Learn Vantage Academy, which will train more than 1,500 local experts in artificial intelligence, strengthening the nation’s talent readiness and accelerating digital transformation across a variety of sectors.
Dr. Majid Al Tuwairi, general manager of Accenture in Saudi Arabia, said: “Our expansion in Riyadh is a testament to our belief in Saudi Arabia’s leadership in the global artificial intelligence renaissance. We are not just opening a workspace, we are launching a platform for co-innovation. By combining our digital core capabilities with skills and partnership upgrades, we are ensuring Saudi institutions and executives are empowered.” It’s about keeping up with change and leading it. ”
Sultan Al Obaida, Chief Commercial Officer of King Abdullah Financial Center, said: “King Abdullah Financial Center is a great choice for Accenture’s expansion in Saudi Arabia as it allows us to stay close to major international and domestic companies. “It’s an ideal location. With innovation at the forefront, Accenture’s expansion strengthens King Abdullah Financial Center’s position as a regional hub for leading companies and demonstrates our shared commitment to driving the Kingdom’s economic transformation.” Arabia is in line with the Kingdom Vision 2030. ”
Accenture’s Saudi headcount has grown by approximately 60% over the past two years, and Accenture’s commitment to Saudi Arabia is embodied in rapid growth there. This growth strengthens Accenture’s role as a trusted partner in building the diverse high-tech workforce needed for the Kingdom’s sustainable future.
