After the rise of Wall Street… how are the world’s stock indexes performing? – Saudi Arabia News

World stock indexes were mixed on the day. European stocks fell in early trading, but most Asian stocks rose as Wall Street rose led by chip giant Nvidia.

Yesterday, the main stock indexes of the US Wall Street Stock Exchange ended higher, with the Standard & Poor’s 500 index rising 0.6% to 6,881.31 points.

The Dow Jones Industrial Average rose 0.3% to close at 49,662.66 points.

The tech-heavy Nasdaq Composite Index rose 0.8% to 22,753.63 points.

Germany’s DAX index fell 0.5% at the start of European trading, reaching 25,157.56 points, while France’s CAC40 index fell 0.6%, reaching 8,379.90 points.

Britain’s FTSE index also fell by 0.4% to 10,647.82 points.

Markets in Greater China were closed for the Lunar New Year holiday, but some other markets have resumed trading.

Japan’s Nikkei 225 index rose 0.6% to 57,467.83 points as trading resumed after a holiday earlier this week, while South Korea’s Kospi index rose 3.1% to 5,677.25 points.

The Australian Standard & Poor’s/ASX 200 index rose 0.9% to 9,086.20 points.

Thailand’s SET index rose 1.7%, while India’s SENSEX index fell 1.1%.

Today’s world stock indexes have fluctuated. European stocks fell at the start of trading due to the rise of “Wall Street” led by semiconductor manufacturing giant Nvidia, but most Asian stocks rose.

Yesterday, the main stock indexes of America’s “Wall Street” ended higher, with the overall S&P 500 index rising 0.6% to 6,881.31 points.

The Dow Jones Industrial Average rose 0.3% to close at 49,662.66 points.
