Al Malik leads youth repatriation project with 7 winter deals – Saudi News

Al-Shabaab Club President Abdulaziz Al-Malik led decisive administrative moves during last winter’s transfer window, resulting in a series of deals that reflected the ambitions of this stage and the regime’s desire to get back on track.

In this winter transfer, Al-Shabaab club signed Fawaz Al-Sakur, Ali Al-Azaiza, Ali Al-Asmari, Basil Al-Siyali, Mohamed Al-Thani, Haroon Kamara and Ali Al-Bureihi, with the aim of strengthening the entire line in the team and increasing the quality of technical options.

This agreement takes place within the vision headed by Abdulaziz Al Malik, which is based on restoring technical discipline and balance within the youth system, building a team capable of restoring Al Youth’s identity and achieving positive results that restore confidence in the fans and propel the team to a more secure position in the Roshan League. Meanwhile, Brazilian goalkeeper Marcelo Grohe continued to consolidate his position as the top goalkeeper in the Saudi Professional League after keeping 57 clean sheets, becoming the third goalkeeper to keep the most clean sheets in the competition’s history, after Abdullah Almayuf with 85 and Walid Abdullah with 71. Grohe’s achievements not only reflect his level of stability and great experience, but he also played a pivotal role in Al Youth’s return to strong competitiveness, as he was a real safety valve who frequently achieved clean sheets in key moments, giving the team confidence and defensive stability at key stages of the season.
