The episodes of the program “Al-Liwan” with Abdullah Al-Mudaifar and his guest Walid Al-Faraj were not ordinary episodes, but rather were “packed” with “intensive” questions from beginning to end. While I observed his “relaxed” state and the innocent smile that covered his facial features, the host was like an executioner, speaking in a tone that said, “Oh, Walid, you have come and God will not bring you.”
– And with every question, overwhelming joy came through the viewer from behind the screen and said, “Abdullah, may God make your face white. Lean on God and have no mercy on God. Let God see the evil in His deeds and thoughts.”
– Yes, our colleague Abdullah al-Mudaifah was a “professional” executioner, and he was eminently successful in choosing questions, most of which were accusations to be denied or proven, and others, expressed in luxurious picture frames and images formed by Walid al-Faraj’s public opinion, requiring either confirmation or denial. At this point, conflict became inevitable. An executioner found a priceless prey whose fat, flesh, and bones he would devour, but this did not prevent him from sucking its blood in the presence of another executioner with those characteristics, who of his own free will accepted and submitted to being placed in the cage of the Accusation. And we hear the voice of the executioner, sometimes sharply, sometimes calmly, asking: “Will you confess, Walid, or will you not confess?”
– And in the “Confession Chair” that night, Walid Al Faraj was strong, solid, consistent, and in fact he revealed through his answers and body language that he is not such an “easy” character. He has enough experience and “Egyptian” sophistication that he can turn the tables by “getting into the enemy’s eyes for a long time”, just as he turned his opponents around against the Executioner Al-Madefer, and transforms into the Executioner with his ruthless reactions and boundless self-confidence. Most importantly, Walid al-Faraj presented a different and beautiful image to the general public. It is the image of a person who is at peace with himself and tolerant, a trait he does not have, and of course age has its own rules.
– This is what made me say: Al-Mudaifah was cruel, but he provided “Abu Badr” with lifelong service. Because he was able to protect his reputation with this very beautiful and very entertaining meeting.
