That’s right, Saudi has welcomed the first-ever AI clinic.
Shanghai-based medical tech company Synyi AI has teamed up with Almoosa Health Group to launch a new clinic, now in its trial phase. The program aims to use AI to replace human doctors as the initial point of contact for patient diagnosis and treatment.
The revolutionary clinic has been opened in Eastern Saudi Arabia and will be staffed by human doctors as well.

A Chinese startup has launched the world’s first AI-powered clinic in Saudi Arabia, changing the way patients receive care. Developed by Shanghai-based Synyi AI, the pilot clinic uses an AI doctor named “Dr. Hua” as the first point of contact.
Patients describe their symptoms to Dr. Hua via tablet, who then asks follow-up questions and analyzes medical data like X-rays and cardiograms, with help from human staff. Afterward, Dr. Hua suggests a treatment plan, which is reviewed by a human doctor. While the AI handles most consultations, human doctors are still available for emergencies and complex cases.

The new clinic has opened in Al Ahsa after initial testing during which the AI system had an error rate lower than 0.3%.

In early testing, the AI clinic showed impressive accuracy with an error rate under 0.3%. Dozens of patients have already tried the service for free, with human doctors overseeing each session. Synyi AI plans to expand the system to diagnose up to 50 conditions—ranging from respiratory to skin and digestive issues—within the next year.
The clinic is currently collecting diagnostic data for approval by Saudi authorities, aiming for commercial rollout in about 18 months.
