Almarai succeeded in earning the Corporate Bond Deal of the Year Award for its remarkable US$750 million international sukuk issued in July 2023. The award was presented at the Capital Markets & ESG Finance Saudi Arabia Awards on February 6, 2024, at Riyadh’s Fairmont Hotel, attended by Almarai’s lead Sukuk preparation team.
Of the people who attended were, Danko Maras, CFO; Ikram UlHaque, Head of Finance; Imtiyaz Shaikh, Assistant Treasurer; Mansour Alwetaid, Senior Legal Counsel; and Junje Floron, Treasury Manager, who collectively received the award.
