MADINA — The General Authority for the Administration of the Grand Mosque and the Prophet’s Mosque has announced the Ramadan visit schedule of Al Rawdah Al Sharifa at the Prophet’s Mosque.
Al-Rawda al-Sharifah is a sacred site located between the House of the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) (now his royal chambers) and the minbar (pulpit).
During the first 20 days of Ramadan, visiting hours for men are 11:20 a.m. to 8 p.m. and 2 a.m. to 5 a.m. Visiting hours for women during this period will be from 11pm to 1:40am and from 6am to 11am.
The schedule will be adjusted during the last 10 days of the holy month. Men will be assigned three visit times: 11:20 a.m. to 8 p.m., 11 p.m. to 12 a.m., and 2 a.m. to 5 a.m., while women will be assigned a morning slot from 6 a.m. to 11 a.m.
Although the area inside the Prophet’s Mosque is modest at approximately 330 square meters, this place has deep spiritual meaning. It has been described as a “garden of paradise” and millions of Muslims come to pray there every year.
Officials stressed that visitors must book their visit in advance through the Nusku app to ensure a smooth, organized and quiet experience.
