In view of the tremendous support provided by the wise leadership to the sports sector, and in strengthening its approach to empowerment and participation in decision-making, the Saudi Athletics Federation’s Election Committee announced that it will begin nominating members of the Athletes’ Committee in accordance with regulations approved by the Federation’s Board of Directors.
The committee explained that the acceptance of nomination applications will begin on January 27, 2026 and will continue until February 5, 2026, and invited all eligible players to apply through the approved channels.
The Election Commission said the election process will be managed according to the highest standards of integrity and transparency and will include the examination of applications, the publication of initial and final lists of candidates, and the conduct of voting in accordance with approved procedures.
The Committee confirmed that the Athletes’ Committee represents the voice of athletes and is an effective platform to communicate their opinions and suggestions, contributing to the development of the national athletics system in line with the Kingdom’s Vision 2030 goals of empowering athletes and strengthening governance.
The Committee called on all players to check the conditions and mechanism details through the federation’s official website and to actively participate in this electoral process.
