The Dubai Criminal Court has issued a preliminary judgment in the case brought by influencer and Syrian artist Bisan Ismail against influencer and artist Maize Doaa, ruling in favor of the plaintiff after considering the documents and evidence presented in the case.

Fine and remove post

The judgment included imposing a fine on the defendants, requiring them to delete all offensive speech and publications on social media sites from their accounts, and banning them from using these platforms for three months from the date of sentencing.

Disagreements with technical support

The origins of the dispute between Bisan Ismail and Maze Door date back to a situation related to one of the art awards after Bisan withdrew from the contest in one of the categories in favor of Maze, but was then surprised when the latter called on his fans to vote for another candidate, which he considered an unfair act and caused dissatisfaction.

As tensions escalated, the two sides exchanged messages and clips conveying indirect criticism and ridicule on social media, and after there were no signs of friendship or public interaction between the two sides, the conflict further worsened and turned into an obvious rift.
