JEDDAH – Saudi Arabia’s Crown Prince and Prime Minister Mohammed bin Salman held separate telephone conversations with the leaders of the United Kingdom, Turkey and Cyprus to discuss the latest developments in the region.
In a telephone conversation with Keir Starmer, the British Prime Minister reaffirmed the UK’s support for Saudi Arabia following Iranian attacks targeting Saudi Arabia. He expressed solidarity between the UK and Saudi Arabia and supported efforts to protect sovereignty, stability and territorial integrity.
The two leaders also reviewed current developments in the region and their implications for regional and global security.
The Saudi Crown Prince spoke with President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan in a separate telephone conversation, condemning Iranian attacks targeting Turkey and reaffirming Saudi support for the measures taken by the Turkish government to protect its security and territorial integrity.
The two sides also discussed the impact of the ongoing military escalation in the region on international and regional security.
Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman also received a call from Nikos Christodoulides to discuss the latest developments in the region and their implications for stability.
Both sides emphasized their rejection of any action that could undermine regional security and stability.
