Citizen arrested for selling fungi without permission and violating environmental regulations in Asir – Saudi News

The Environmental Safety Task Force arrested a citizen who violated environmental regulations by appearing in a video content displaying fungi without a license for sale in the Asir region, and legal proceedings against him have been completed.

The Environmental Safety Task Force emphasized compliance with the Environmental Law and its enforcement regulations, which prohibit the display of fungal organisms without permission, and the fine (20,000 riyals) for exhibiting captured wildlife and 25,000 riyals (25,000 riyals) for hunting rock hyraxes.

The Environmental Safety Task Force confirmed that it is following up on environmental violations published through various platforms and will take all legal action against those who violate the environmental system and its enforcement regulations, taking into account the damage these violations cause to natural resources.

People are asked to report any incidents indicating attacks on the environment or wildlife using number (911) in Mecca Al Mukarrama, Medina, Riyadh and Sharqiyah regions, and number (999) and number (996) in all regions of the Kingdom.

The Environmental Safety Task Force arrested a citizen who violated the environmental regime by appearing in a video showing wildlife without a sales permit in the Asir region and completed legal proceedings against him.

The Environmental Safety Task Force stressed the importance of complying with the environmental regime and its enforcement regulations, which prohibit the display of wildlife without a permit, and confirmed that the fine for exhibiting captured wildlife is a fine of (20,000) Riyals and the fine for hunting a Rock Hyrax is a fine of (25,000) Riyals.

The Environmental Safety Task Force has confirmed that it monitors environmental violations published on various platforms and will take all legal action against those who violate the environmental system and its enforcement regulations, as these violations damage natural resources.

They called on all incidents indicating violence against the environment or wildlife to be reported to number (911) in Mecca, Madinah, Riyadh and Eastern Province regions, and number (999) and number (996) in all Saudi regions.
