A new study by ground transport experts Mozio has named Dubai the world’s most transportable city for travelers, with a score of 7.2 out of 10.

This ranking evaluated the city’s accessibility from the airport using factors such as public transportation frequency, transfer times, taxi fares, and residents’ access to transportation.

In Dubai, it takes 24 minutes to get from the airport to the city center, with public transport arriving every 8 minutes.

The city will welcome more than 15.7 million visitors in 2025, and Dubai International Airport handled more than 46 million passengers in the first half of this year alone, highlighting its growing popularity and strong connectivity.

Commenting on the findings, Mozio CEO Nicole Kerr shared advice for travelers heading to Dubai International Airport in 2026: “In a recent study, Mozio has , we wanted to find out which cities in the world are the most transportable for travelers. It may come as no surprise that Dubai ranks highly across the board, scoring 7.2/10 and being named the world’s most transportable city.”

Kerr added: “Among the many attractions that Dubai has to offer, travelers heading to the Middle Eastern city will be pleased to know that they can reach the city center right from the airport. We recommend pre-booking your Dubai airport transfer through Mozio before you arrive. This will save you time and money. Travelers will be met at the airport and taken on a short journey into the city.” This means you don’t have to wait for an airport taxi or public transportation. ”
