Emirates expects its network to return to 100% within the next few days, subject to airspace availability and all operational requirements being met.

“Safety remains our top priority, as has our duty of care,” an Emirates spokesperson said in a statement today.

He added: “Following the partial reopening of regional airspace, Emirates is operating a reduced schedule as we work to restore full network operations.”

The statement added that Emirates transported around 30,000 passengers from Dubai yesterday. By tomorrow, 7 March, Emirates will be operating 106 daily return flights to 83 destinations, representing almost 60% of our route network.

It also showed that Emirates is significantly expanding its business in certain high-demand markets. In the UK alone, the airline plans to operate 11 daily flights from five airports by March 7, reflecting strong demand for travel between the UAE and the UK.

• Additional capacity is being introduced across India, with Emirates expanding to 22 flights a day serving all nine of India’s gateways by tomorrow, March 7th.

• In the United States, Emirates currently operates seven gateways in the United States, ensuring continuous connectivity between the United States and the UAE during this period.

The airline further said it will continue to closely monitor the situation and adjust its operations accordingly. “We strongly encourage all customers to check emirates.com and our official social media channels. We will publish the latest updates as they become available.”
