‘Environmental Security Agency’ arrests violators of Abdulaziz Royal Reserve – Saudi News

Special environmental security forces arrested and took legal action against citizens who violated environmental regulations by driving into protected wild areas in Al-Fayad and King Abdulaziz Reserves.

The military explained that fines for entering al-Fayad and protected wild grasslands by vehicles amount to 2,000 riyals, and called on people to report any incidents indicating attacks on the environment or wildlife using number (911) in the areas of Mecca al-Mukarramah, Medina, Riyadh and Sharqiyah, and number (999) and number (996) in other areas. Kingdom, and all reports are treated as completely confidential and there is no liability on the part of the informant.

The Environmental Safety Task Force arrested a citizen who violated environmental regulations by driving his car into the protected valleys and meadows of the Royal Abdulaziz Reserve, and legal action was taken against him.

The military has clarified that fines for vehicles entering protected valleys and pastures can reach up to 2,000 riyals, and appeals to the public to report any incidents of environmental or wildlife violations to the number (911) in Makkah, Madinah, Riyadh and Eastern Province areas, and (999) and (996) in the rest of the Kingdom. All reports will be treated as completely confidential and there will be no liability to the reporter.
