The Directorate General of Foreign Trade, represented by the Trade Remedies Board, held a public hearing for interested parties cooperating in an anti-dumping investigation into the import of solid iron hollow pipes and tubes (ductile iron pipes) products of diameter 100 mm to 1000 mm originating from or exported from the Republic of India.

The public hearing held by authorities followed the announcement of the start of an investigation last July. This meeting is considered one of the stages of the investigation into the Saudi commercial processing system in international trade, and the authorities will provide an opportunity for all parties participating in the investigation to express their opinions, present their claims before the investigating body, see the views and opinions of other parties involved in the investigation, and discuss various opinions.

This is the fifth investigation into the trade remedy system in international trade since its efforts began. The system aims to protect local industry from damage caused by dumping and subsidized imports, prevent an increase in imports, and protect Saudi exports from being subject to trade relief procedures.
