Guards satisfied with ‘bronze’ at Jeddah Championship – Saudi News

The players of the Makkah region’s Border Guard team defeated the Jeddah Governorate Police team (2-1) in the third and fourth place match held this Sunday evening at the Redeef Al Jawara Stadium in King Abdullah Sports City, clinching the third place and bronze medal at the 2026 Jeddah Football Championship.

Guard (2025 tournament runners-up) lost to Jeddah’s Al-Tawun team (2-0) in the semi-finals of the tournament, while Al-Shouta lost to Jeddah’s Al-Jamea (1-0).

The players of the “Border Guards” team from the Mecca region won the “Police” team from Jeddah Governorate with a score of 2-1 in the match for third and fourth place on Sunday evening at the (Redef Al-Jawara) Stadium of King Abdullah Sports City, winning the third place and the bronze medal in the “Jeddah 2026” football championship.

Border Guards (2025 championship runners-up) lost to Jeddah’s “Cooperation” team (2-0) in the semifinals of the tournament, while Police lost to Jeddah’s “University” team (1-0).
