At MWC 2026, HONOR advanced its Augmented Human Intelligence (AHI) vision and accelerated its ALPHA PLAN through three connected pillars: Alpha Phone, Alpha Store, and Alpha Lab. Building on its long-term commitment to human-centered AI, HONOR offered a preview of a robot phone, a bold exploration of embodied intelligence, and a new breed of smartphone that reimagines how future AI devices can integrate movement and spatial awareness.
Alongside this futuristic innovation, HONOR announced the Magic V6, the pinnacle of foldable innovation, combining breakthrough silicon carbon battery technology, advanced display engineering, and AI-enhanced productivity in the sleekest foldable design ever. These announcements, along with new ecosystem devices HONOR MagicPad 4 and MagicBook Pro 14, strengthen HONOR’s roadmap to integrate intelligent hardware and software for real human needs.
James Li, CEO of HONOR, said, “With human-centeredness as a lighthouse, we guide the growth of AI through the two axes of IQ and EQ, integrating three forms of intelligence. We are exploring a new paradigm for AI devices with Alpha Phone, hosting a new paradigm of AI ecosystem with Alpha Store, and building a new paradigm of silicon carbon civilization with Alpha Lab. 3 of Alpha Plan. With two waves now, all the components are in place and we are now moving forward on this journey at full warp speed.”
Take a look at the HONOR robot phone: a new breed of smartphone
Robot Phone is a new breed of smartphone that combines embodied AI interactions with robot-grade motion and cinematic imaging capabilities. Rather than figuratively speaking, reacting only to a screen or voice commands, HONOR gives next-generation devices not just brains but arms and legs, combining AI with more physical and expressive interactions through motion and camera movement. This goes beyond what static smartphones can offer, bringing more human and expressive interaction to everyday technology, adjusting your perspective in real time. Multimodal perception means being able to identify sounds, track movement, and maintain visual awareness, creating a more natural, sensory, and intuitive interaction model.
The robot phone also introduces embodied AI interactions that are designed to feel more natural and expressive. Supports all-angle AI video calls that follow the user with robot-grade motion control. They can also react with emotional body language such as expressive nods and head shakes, and even dance to the beat of music, bringing playful and life-like interactions to the smartphone experience.
Incorporating robots into smartphones required rethinking space, strength, and weight at a micro level. HONOR has applied the high-performance materials and reliability know-how developed for foldables to robotphone engineering, resulting in an in-house developed micromotor designed for extreme compactness and strength. By significantly reducing the size of the motor, HONOR was able to attach an ultra-compact 4DoF gimbal system to a mobile phone, creating a hardware foundation for robotic-grade embedded motion control.
This mechanical architecture supports a 3-axis gimbal stabilization system for smooth and precise movement even in dynamic environments. Super Steady Video Mode improves stability in high-motion scenarios, and AI Object Tracking allows the robot phone to intelligently track subjects in real-time. AI SpinShot further extends your creative control, supporting intelligent 90-degree and 180-degree rotation motions for smooth cinematic transitions, even when shooting with one hand.
Built around a 200MP sensor and a stable gimbal camera system, the robot phone is designed to help users not only capture moments, but also life stories. Through stabilization, intelligent tracking, and cinematic-style camera movement, we aim to bridge the gap between smartphone video and professional storytelling.
Together, these capabilities demonstrate how embodied AI can unlock new forms of capture and interaction, positioning the robophone as a decisive step in HONOR’s evolution toward more intelligent and adaptive devices. As HONOR continues to advance its ALPHA PLAN, the robot phone offers a glimpse into how embodied intelligence will shape the next generation of mobile technology.
HONOR Magic V6: New foldable benchmark
While the Robot Phone explores the future of embodied intelligence, the Magic V6 represents the latest flagship foldable innovation. Building on HONOR’s leadership in foldable design, Magic V6 delivers a device designed for durability, performance, and intelligent productivity.
Combining an ultra-thin 8.75 mm closed profile with enhanced structural integrity and advanced hinge architecture, Magic V6 is designed for long-term reliability while maintaining exceptional thinness. The device is rated IP68 and IP69 for water and dust resistance, making it more durable in everyday environments. Within this ultra-thin, foldable design, HONOR integrates next generation silicon carbon battery technology.
Made possible through a partnership with ATL, the Magic V6 features HONOR’s 5th generation silicone carbon material, addressing the challenge of balancing thinness and high energy density. With this innovation, HONOR Magic V6 achieves an industry-first 25% silicon content, supporting higher energy density in an ultra-thin, foldable design. The result is one of the thinnest foldable batteries on the market with a 6,660mAh battery that redefines expectations for durability in this category without compromising design.
At MWC 2026, HONOR also demonstrated next-generation battery innovation with the all-new HONOR Silicon Carbon Blade Battery featuring 32% silicon content and 900+ Wh/L. Designed to help foldable devices enter the 7000mAh era, it marks another leap forward in ultra-thin, ultra-high energy battery technology.
Magic V6 also sets a new benchmark in foldable display innovation. The dual flagship LTPO 2.0 screens measure 6.52 inches externally and 7.95 inches unfolded, with an adaptive 1-120Hz refresh rate and peak brightness of up to 6,000 nits and up to 5,000 nits, respectively, for HDR content. The inner display features ultra-thin flexible glass with SGS Minimized Crease Certification, which reduces crease depth by 44% compared to the previous generation, creating a flatter, more immersive canvas. A silicon nitride-based anti-reflection stack reduces reflectance to 1.5%, while advanced 4320Hz PWM dimming and AI defocus display improve comfort during long-term use. These innovations make the Magic V6 more refined and durable throughout daily operation.
With the expansive display unfolded, AI-enhanced productivity features optimize multitasking, content creation, and communication. Cross-ecosystem tools further enhance flexibility and position Magic V6 as a powerful companion device that works seamlessly with Apple’s ecosystem.
As the first foldable device powered by Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5, combined with advanced vapor chamber cooling for sustained performance, Magic V6 delivers ultra-smooth gaming, multitasking, and demanding workloads and is the truest expression of the AI-era foldable devices available today, designed to last and assist.
HONOR AI Ecosystem: MagicPad 4 and MagicBook Pro 14
HONOR expands its AI-powered portfolio beyond smartphones, introducing MagicPad 4 and MagicBook Pro 14 to its flagship ecosystem at MWC 2026.
