Human Resources Fund: 562,000 men and women hired within 12 months – Saudi News

The Saudi Human Resources Development Fund revealed that it achieved unprecedented record numbers in employment and training support in 2025, as the Fund’s programs and initiatives contributed to the employment of more than 562,000 men and women in private sector establishments, recording a growth of 29% compared to 2024.

The Fund said in a statement today (Wednesday) that these results are the culmination of the Fund’s strategy aimed at keeping pace with Saudi Vision 2030’s goals of developing human capital and improving labor market efficiency.

The Fund explained that more than two million men and women have benefited from training, mentoring and empowerment programs, helping to increase their professional readiness and aligning their skills with the needs of the promising renewable sector, with total disbursements on training, empowerment and mentoring support programs exceeding SAR 8.296 billion during 2025.

Beneficiary facility

The number of establishments benefiting from the Fund’s services increased to more than 226,000 establishments in different regions of the Kingdom, of which SMEs accounted for approximately 94%, a growth of 27%. Additionally, 45 specific training agreements related to employment in various sectors were signed. This confirms the Fund’s pivotal role in Vision 2030, strengthening the role of the private sector in increasing the contribution of SMEs to Vision 2030. Turki Al Jawaini, Executive Director of the Human Resources Development Fund, acknowledged that the continued increase in the number of beneficiaries reflects the success of the Fund’s strategic transformation to maximize its economic and social impact. It also reflects the Fund’s position as a strategic pillar in the development of national capabilities and embodies the Fund’s vital role in aligning training outcomes with labor market needs and strengthening public-private strategic partnerships that link national capabilities with promising opportunities in the labor market, contributing to building a diverse and sustainable knowledge economy.

He said: “The Fund continues its efforts to develop programs to ensure employment sustainability and improve the productivity of the national executive, based on advanced digital infrastructure and effective partnerships that support the competitiveness of the Saudi people regionally and globally.”
