A group of friends from the Belgian town of Zinghem have won the grand prize totaling 123 million euros in the EuroMillions draw, one of the most exciting events in the European lottery world.

“$5.8 million…I can’t believe it,” one of the winners said in front of the cafe where the winning ticket was sold, expressing shock at the unexpected size of the profit.
Café employee Lidgie Tailoi explains that the secret to winning is not complicated: “It’s very simple. On a Friday morning, they came to buy a card with automatically chosen numbers on it for about 105 euros.” She added: “That’s it…they won this big prize.”
The prize is the eighth largest ever achieved by a Belgian player in EuroMillions history, with the previous record for the grand prize remaining at €168 million set in October 2016.
